1Attach ArcWeeder to your power drill
2Place the tip over the weed and press down on the footplate.
3Start the power drill in a clockwise direction with the tip in the ground and apply downward pressure.
4When you reach the bottom stop, switch to counterclockwise rotation and pull the cutter up.
5Keep your foot firmly on the foot plate and stop the drill as soon as the cutter reaches the scraper plate. This allows the scraper to remove soil, grass and weeds from the cutter.
6Pull the tool straight up from the soil.
